What happened to my blog?

Umm... I think it was the ipad! I seemed to have been distracted by hours of mind numbing game play ..

It started with Farm Story, then City Story. Before I new it I had another farm with We Farm and then a whole damn kingdom (We Rule). In between, there was hamburger making and the flinging of angry birds and now Riley and I are completely distracted by PlantsvZombies.  The list goes on.

So instead of the time to upload each week, I'm getting less and less sleep becuase I have crops to harvest, fields to plough, rents to collect ....

AGGHHHH.  And I havent made anything (by hand) in about as long.  I'm sure that the decline of the suburban scrapbook store hasn't helped.  Saying goodbye to these retail friends is devasting - the last blow was Scrapbook City!  My love of pretty paper and flowers and stamps and ribbons is doomed!

But I think Becky will pull me out of this slump.  Now I'm on the wait list for the 2011 versions of Project Life, I can dedicate my efforts to weaning myself off the ipad and back into my study!  But maybe I have time for one more quick game ... it will only take a minute ....

It seems that I'm not alone. Each and every day millions of us are feeding our obsession to waste time and avoid the important stuff.  Choosing instead to float away on the techno-drug that makes us forgeteverything ... ( James agrees ....) Hmmm where did I leave the kids?  What kids?
